Chennai, Oct 7: Paapanasam actor Kamal Haasan who will turn 61 on the 7th of November, completed the shooting of the bilingual film, with each shot being done twice, in each of the languages and yet the entire shooting was completed in 60 days. The movie was done in Tamil and Telugu. In Telugu it will be titled as Cheekati Rajyam.

About the shooting for the movie, Kamal Haasan said, "Unlike most films, we didn't dub the film in Telugu. Each shot was mostly shot twice in Tamil as well as Telugu. It's an authentic bilingual that we completed in just 60 days." Kamal was given a surprise advance birthday gift by Director Rajesh Selva and the entire team of Thoogaavanam with the release of a single track from the song exactly one month before Kamal's birthday on the 7th of October. The track titled 'Neeye Unakku Raja' has been sung by Kamal himself and Director Rajesh told press persons that, "We are releasing the single track from our film exactly a month before Kamal sir's birthday. This is our birthday gift to him."

The song was released at a star studded event here, today. Actor - Filmmaker Sripriya Sethupathi said, "It's so raw and stylish, I doubt if it's a Tamil film." Other stars who attended the show are Dhanush, Vishal Krishna Reddy and Gautham Vasudev among others. Actor Dhanush revealed that he admired Kamal Haasan a lot and dreamed of receiving an award from the veteran actor. Slated for worldwide release on 10th of November, the ensemble cast includes Prakash Raj, Sampath, Kishore, Trisha Krishnan and Madhu Shalini.
