Mumbai, Aug 16: Harry B Cutinho has been unanimously re-elected as president of Konkani Catholic Association, St Francis De Sales Church, Nallasopara (West) for the year 2007-08.

Patrick Fratas, secretary, Gracy Pinto, vice-president, Alwyn Francis D’Souza Shirva, treasurer, Lilly Quadros, Claude D’Silva, Leena Pereira, Richard D’Souza, Violet Moraes, Lavina D’Souza were elected as members of executive committee while Fr Joe Rebello was elected as advisor.

Fr Jerson S invoked God’s blessings and appreciated the activities undertaken by the Association.

Secretary Patrick Fratas read the minutes of last meeting. Vice-president Gracy Pinto presented the report. Treasurer Alwyn F D’Souza, presented the annual financial report.  

Konkani Catholic Association has been engaged in social work among the people from all religion in the areas under Thane- Nallasopar for the past 11 years.  It has made significant contribution for flood relief, educational assistance, health and providing basic amenities to the local deprived and marginalized residents in the locality.  Their yeomen service along with other local organizations has been lauded by the people in general.
