New Delhi, Nov 27 (IANS): President Pranab Mukherjee on Friday extended his greetings to the people of Mauritania on the eve of their National Day.
"It gives me great pleasure to convey to you, to the government and the people of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, warm greetings and felicitations on the occasion of your National Day," Mukherjee said in a message to his Mauritanian counterpart Mohamed Ould Abdel Aziz.
Mauritania celebrates its National Day on November 28.
"Bilateral relations between India and Mauritania are marked by warmth and goodwill," Mukherjee said.
"We look forward to working closely with your government to further strengthen our ongoing partnership in areas of capacity building, infrastructure development and skill upgradation," he added.
