Dear readers, we know Daijiworld.com news portal has been a part of your life, and we strive to give our best. This journey has been phenomenal but challenging and quite demanding too. It is our dynamic and enterprising teams from India and abroad, who, with their dedication, hard work and commitment, have made it possible for us to remain the undisputed leader in online media from this part of Karnataka for the past 15 years, and who we know, will keep the momentum going for many more years to come.
And while we cherish this moment of fulfilment, we also express our deep gratitude to each and every one who stood alongside us throughout our journey. Our advertisers have kept us alive with their unconditional support, our reporting teams, editorial, administrative, technical and marketing teams, advertising agencies and contributors have been our breath. We do not want to mention names, for there are so many, but each and every one of you is in our hearts and minds, and we are simply indebted to you. Through our indepth reports and exclusive stories that have reached far and wide, we have been to create awareness in society, shake up the system and make a lasting impact. Several of our reports have created a sensation, and eventually forced authorities to take action. It would not be an exaggeration to say that the impact we have created in society, and the trends we have set in online media, have given us one more reason to experience a sense of fulfilment.
Our journey will not stop here, we will strive harder and aim higher. This year we plan to expand even further, making optimum use of technology. We will disclose our new ventures in the near future. We promise you that every venture of ours will be people-friendly, motivational for younger generation and impact-oriented.
This year we have been able to achieve 21% growth in readership worldwide, thanks to our fast-growing social media networks. With over 1 lac Facebook followers, about 50,000 mobile app downloads, and followers in several other social media platforms, we are every day reaching new readers.
We take pride in proclaiming that we are striding ahead in the right direction with a mission and goal. To celebrate our success and show our gratitude to our supporters, we will organize the 15th anniversary event of daijiworld.com on February 5 in Mangaluru. The grand finale of 'Hyssna Miss Daijiworld 2015' will be part of our celebrations. Dignitaries and well-wishers from all over the world are expected to attend the gala event.
