Daijiworld Media Network – Mangalore (SM)

Mangalore, Oct 3: ELIXIR, the MCA Student Association of Aloysius Institute of Computer Science will conduct a national-level IT fest epITome ‘07 in Eric Mathias Hall, IT Building, St Aloysius College here on Thursday October 4 and Friday October 5.

This was announced by Fr Denzil Lobo SJ and other organizers at a media meet held in the Press Club here on Tuesday.

The programme is designed to familiarize the IT students with the latest, newest and the best in the field as well as implement their innovative ideas.

The inaugural function will be held on Thursday October 4 at 9 am. John Prasad Menezes, former president, Kanara Chamber of Commerce, Bharath Kumar, manager, Cambridge Integrated Services India Pvt ltd, Fr Francis Serrao, rector, Fr Denzil Lobo, director, Ricky Santosh Rebello, dean, Rakesh Kumar, staff convenor, Joel Cutinho, president, ELIXIR and Mohammed Ansar, student co-ordinator will be the chief guest.

Valedictory programme will be held on Friday October 5 at 5.30 pm. Adam Clapham, former BBC producer, London, Fr Swebert, principal, Fr Denzil Lobo, Ricky Santosh Rebello, Rakesh Kumar, Joel Cutinho and Mohammed Ansar will be the chief guest for valedictory function.
