Mangaluru, Apr 1: The music audio of the much-awaited and mega budget Konkani movie 'Ek Aslyar Ek Na' will be released on Sunday, April 3 at Don Bosco Hall, said movie producer Frank Fernandes.
He was addressing the press meet at press club here on Friday, April 1.
"This film has been shot in Mangaluru and Thonse in Udupi district. The premier show and release of the movie will be held in Dubai on May 6. The movie will be released on May 13 at Prabhath in Mangaluru, Amarashri in Moodbidri and Kalpana in Udupi. The film will also be screened in Kuwait, UK, Australia, Canada and many Gulf countries." Fernandes revealed.
Bishop of Mangaluru Dr Aloysius Paul D'Souza and bishop of Udupi Dr Gerald Isaac Lobo will grace the occasion as chief guests and release the audio along with the promo of the movie on April 3 at 4.30 pm. NRI entrepreneur and philanthropist Ronald Colaco will release the poster of the movie.
Michael D'Souza, MD, Ivory Grand Hotel and Apartments, Dubai, Martin Aranha, MD, GlobeLink Westar Shipping, Dubai, J R Lobo, MLA, Mangaluru South, Ivan D'Souza, MLC, Roy Castelino, president of Konkani Sahithya Academy, Basti Vaman Shenoy, founder, Vishwa Konkani Centre, Walter Nandalike, founder and MD, Daijiworld Media, Jerry Dias, director, Mandavi Developers and Promoters, and Eric Ozario, Gurkar of Mandd Sobhann will grace the occasion.
A special attraction of the evening will be performances by popular dance group of Mangaluru 'Boys Zone' to the songs of the movie. Film actor, TV anchor and ace compere Alwyn Danthy will compere the event in his unique style.
About ‘Ek Aslyar Ek Na’ movie
The mega budget 'Ek Aslyar Ek Na', regarded as the most expensive movie ever in the history of Konkani cinema, is being produced by Frank Fernandes Thottam under his production banner 'Ferns Movie International'. Acclaimed actor and director of Konkani stage, 'Prince of Comedy' fame Pradeep Barboza Paladka has written the story, dialogues and also provided his creative direction besides acting in a lead role in the movie.
State award winner D Shashi Kumar of 'Savaari - Two' fame is the cinematographer, while Vanil Veigas has provided the music.
Noted Konkani lyricist Wilson Kateel has written the lyrics, Mass Madhahas has directed the stunt sequences, Akul-Girish and Rajesh Brahmavar have choreographed the songs. Kishore Moodbidri and Stany Bela are the assistant directors and Alphonse D'Souza is the production in-charge.
Pradeep Barboza Paladka, Heroine Priya Menezes were present on this occasion.
Frank Fernandes said he makes movies in various languages to promote art and encourage young talent.
