Neil Mascarenhas launches debut music album 'Time of Grace' in Australia

Mangaluru, Apr 3: Australia-based Neil Mascarenhas launched his debut music album, 'Time of Grace', at Divine Retreat Centre, Somersby, Australia, on Saturday, March 26. Fr Michael Payyapilly VC who is the director at the Retreat Centre, blessed the occasion.

Neil, son of Alwyn and Bernadine Mascarenhas from Valencia here, is presently based in Sydney, Australia with his wife Dale and children.

'Time of Grace' is a praise and worship album comprising of 10 hymns. The hymns are titled, 'Let your Kingdom come', 'No other Name', 'Passion song', 'Holy Fire fall', 'Time of Grace', 'Thank You', 'I surrender', 'To know You', 'Hail! Hail! O Mighty God' and 'I hear the Angels'. These hymns are based on the profound truth that God is eager to intervene in our lives and every moment is an opportunity to be with Him and experience His love and grace, says Neil.

The album has been produced by Neil in collaboration with talented musicians and singers from Mangaluru, namely Munita Veigas Rao, Dionne Mascarenhas D'Souza, Jean Braggs, Sweethin Hartman, Ashish Palanna, Shelton Pinto, Melwyn Lobo, Joswin D'Cunha and Jerome Coelho. The music has been arranged and programmed by Stephen Frank. The recording, mixing and mastering of the hymns have been done by Ashith Pinto and Srikanth Srinivas at Daijiworld Audio Visual Pvt. Ltd.

Speaking to Daijiworld after the release of the album, Neil said, "The purpose of this album is for everyone to experience the love and presence of God in their lives. It has been a wonderful journey bringing to life the hymns that I have been inspired to compose. I have been blessed with the opportunity to work with gifted individuals, who have willingly dedicated their time and talents towards this wonderful venture."
