Bengaluru, May 8: A sexual harassment incident which occurred during the summer camp that was organized within the premises of a private school here has come out into the open with some delay. In this case, the accused, who is a dance trainer, has been taken into custody. The victim in this case happens to be a four-year-old girl.
Dance trainer, Peter (21), stands arrested on the basis of a complaint filed by the parents of the girl. He has been booked under Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act. In addition, another man, identified as Bharat (39), who is a part of the school management and who had organized the summer camp, also stands arrested.

The incident reportedly took place on May 3 at the English medium school located at Coffee Board Layout in Kempapura here. Parents of the girl, who was at the receiving end of this crime, filed a complaint against Peter, a resident of Kempapura, on May 5 at Amritahalli police station. The policemen took Peter into custody on Saturday May 7. On being produced in the court, he was remanded to judicial custody till May 16.
It is claimed that Peter had led the girl to a room, taking care to see that no one noticed his action, on the morning of May 3. After sexually exploiting the girl, he also reportedly threatened her not to talk about the incident with anybody. The parents of the girl noticed on that evening that the girl, when returning home, looked pale and tired. They thought that the girl would have been involved with more activities that day at the camp. The girl continued to look drained out the next morning. When the parents questioned, the girl, she related about the horrid experience she went through at the summer camp. The parents immediately contacted school management, narrated the incident to them, besides filing a complaint in the police station on Friday.
Amritahalli police are investigating the case.
