Mangaluru, May 31: The state high court, which is considering the anticipatory bail application moved by Naresh Shenoy, who has been identified by the police as prime accused in the case relating to murder of RTI activist, Vinayak P Baliga, has adjourned the hearing to June 1.
It is gathered that advocate, T Prakash, who was hitherto appearing on behalf of the petitioner, has withdrawn from the case. In his place, Shyam Sundar has been appointed. Shyam Sundar sought time to study the case and place arguments. The high court upheld his request and fixed June 1 for next hearing.
The high court also approved the application moved by Vinayak Baliga's father, Ramachandra Baliga, seeking permission to appoint advocate, N Raveendranath Kamath, to assist the public prosecutor in placing arguments before the court in this case.
