Bengaluru, Aug 27 : In an important development, Bengaluru City Crime Branch (CCB) police team has prepared plans to arrest four notorious underworld elements Ravi Poojary, Kali Yogisha, Vishwanatha Koraga Shetty, and Hebbettu Manja. All four are reportedly from Karnataka state. The interpol has issued a red corner notice against these four on Friday.
Earlier, Bengaluru CCB has provided complete details about these four to Interpol and succeeded in issuing the red corner notice. The recent success of Bannanje Raja's arrest in Morocco has now inspired police to a step forward in hunting these four underworld elements.
According to the official sources, there are 102 cases registered against Ravi Poojary who reportedly possesses more than one passport from India. He had come to Bengaluru few years back, and was married to a Punjabi girl. According the latest information, he is residing in Africa, and is married a local girl there.
Ravi Poojary, Hebbettu Manja, Vishwanath Shetty, and Kali Yogish
There are 29 and 16 cases registered against Kali Yogisha and Vishwanatha Shetty respectively including murder, attempt to murder, extortion and life threatening cases. Both are not married. Kali Yogisha is reportedly associated with Ravi Poojary gang. Both have criminal cases resisted in Udupi, Mangaluru, Mumbai and Bengaluru.
Another underworld element Hebbettu Manja is a Shivamogga native, but passport address says that he is from Mangaluru. He has 13 cases registered against him in Bengaluru and Shivamogga.
According to the sources, CCB police have gathered the information about all these four persons about number of passport they hold, details of satellite phone they use, finger prints, and in the counrties they reside.
Looking at the interest and speed the CCB police taken in the matter the arrest of these four underworld criminals is imminent.
