Udupi: Lorry-Car Collision - Two Dead , Two Injured.

Udupi, Dec 10: In a lorry-car collision in which two persons were killed and two injured at Heranje village, which comes under the Brahmavar police station limits here on Sunday December 9.
 
According to the police, the car was on its way to Brahmavar from Hebri, when a truck that was coming from the opposite direction hit the car. The accident was so severe that two persons who were traveling in the car died on the spot.
 
The deceased have been identified as Muralidhar Kamath (28) and his mother Vijaya Kamath (53). The two other occupants seated in the car were severly injured. They have been identified as Amrita Bhat and her four year old son Amol, both of whom have been taken to the KMC hospital at Manipal.
 
According to sources the reason for the accident has been ascribed to the truck drivers negligence and rash driving.  A case has been registered at the police station.

    Its so unfortunate to hear such a sad news. Shri Murulidhar Kamath is a far relative to me but more than that he was a good friend. May Almighty God give strength to his family to bear this great loss. and may thier soul rest in peace.
