Good thought and organisation of program. My thought is when you try to bring peoples near to the mother earth, participants should come at traditional dress / farmers dress... not like they are going to attend some function like jean's, sunglasses, few might be showed up in make-up's too..!! So its a fun for the peoples not means coming closer the earth. if they come in traditional, they will experience the problems of farmers, even new generations can experience the beauty, comfort in traditional dress. End of the day what is the return to the mother earth(paddy field)! if all together planted paddy, that might be useful.
