Bantwal: Lokayukta Traps Taluk Office Employee while Taking Bribe

Bantwal, Dec 13: Lokayukta has been doing yeoman's job by trapping corrupt officials. Despite having minimum authority to take action against tainted officials, lokayukta sleuths have been ensuring that the tribe of corrupt officials trapped.

Accordingly Harish, an employee of taluk office was caught red-handed by lokayukta officials, when he was taking a bribe, on Thursday December 13 here.  He has demanded a bribe of Rs 2500 from Rama Rao in order to issue title deeds for the property of Kittanna Rai. 

Accordingly, Lokayukta officials laid elaborate plan to catch Harish red-handed.  Lokayukta DySP B J Bhandary, sub-inspector Uday Naik and policemen were involved in this raid, which was held on the basis of complaint filed by Rama Rao.

    This is a good appreciable action by the Lokayukta officials. These culprits are now spread all over govt. offices, nobody will work for common man's needs without paying them despite they get good salary.
