New Delhi, Sep 21 (IANS): It was a partly cloudy Wednesday morning here with the minimum temperature recorded at 27 degree Celsius, two notches above the season's average.
The maximum temperature during the day is likely to hover around 36 degree Celsius, the weather office said.
"Light rains are likely to occur during the day," an official of the Indian Meteorological Department said.
The humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 77 per cent, the official said.
The maximum temperature on Tuesday settled at 37.4 degrees Celsius, three notches above the season's average, while the minimum temperature was recorded at 25.3 degrees Celsius, season's average.
