Himachal to regulate childhood care


Shimla, Oct 30 (IANS): Himachal Pradesh will regulate childhood care and education institutions in the state, an official said here on Sunday.

Proposed legislation the Himachal Pradesh Early Childhood Care and Education Centres (Establishment and Regulation) Bill of 2016 has been drafted by the state Directorate of Women and Child Development in this regard, a government spokesperson told IANS.

He said the draft legislation has been uploaded on the website (wcd-hpnic.in), asking the stakeholders to give suggestions and objections, if any.
