As Konkani Nirantari is reaching towards its final goal, there is an Amchi Mumbai flavour to the event with music troupe led by well-known singer and composer Victor Concesso from Jeri Meri taking the stage.  It is purely out of love and respect for Konkani that these members of Jeri Meri have travelled all the way to Mangalore and rendered their service.

Jeri Meri has taken over the baton from Bethany Sisters whose performance was highly appreciated by Konkani music buffs and Konkani lovers who have gathered at Kalaangann in big number.

Meet Harry Boy (79) - Eldest Singer at Konkani Nirantari

For Henry D'Souza, 79, the oldest participating member, it is a proud moment to be here at Nirantari.

For this veteran comedian, stage has always been his strength. He has acted at various stage shows mainly Lavnya, Nikita. From childhood he had a passion for music and was drawn to the stage.

He is popularly called as Harry Boy. A name given to him by Cappuchin  Fr Philip Neri.  He is originally a resident of Valencia, but for the past 60 years he has been living in Vakola, Mumbai.

He is extremely thankful to Eric Ozario and the organizers for conducting such an event, which launches Konkani on a world platform. He considers it a privilege to be part of such an event.
