Drivers should be more careful while taking test drives. Most people drive recklessly when the car they are driving is not their own. Very bad attitude.

The co-passengers may be the people who suppossed to be test the vehicle performance before buying the vehicle, unexpectedly they saw more than enough about the vehicle due to the reckless act of the driver.who is responsible for it? i think Mandovi Motors should have tested drivers ability, responsibility before handing over test drive vehicle. Thanks to locals for saving the precious lives.

Didn't the driver  know you use a boat & not a a car for fishing? However, did anyone catch any fish though? On a serious note, I thought test drives were supposed to be accompanied by a showroom driver too. All will have learnt a good lesson here.

well I dont think there is any problem with the design of the car,its just that a boot is added ,like the Indigo from tata.Infact the swift is a very good car with excellent road grip. It is just coz of the reckless & negligent driving of the driver this tragedy has happened & the sad part is that this idiotic driver put the life of other three persons in danger. God has saved them !!! request the authorities to just cancel the liscense of this driver for life . Also these car dealers call every Tom ,Dick & Harry to take a test drive to promote the sales. they should check whether the person has a valid DL & also it is adviseable to chech the background of the person before asking the person to test drive any car.

The dynamics has nothing to do with the accident!! Swift is a car which is used in Europe as well after passing all safety regulations.!!

The design of the vehicle has limitations. The people responsible for the road tests have to be taken to task. They need to inform the people taking the road test about the same. what if the same took place in the city causing injury to the innocent? who is responsible ?

Thank God,those who were in the car were saved!I it is obvious that this tragedy happened due to the reckless driving by the so called Test driver! This thannirbavi stretch of the road is well known for such mishaps, including a few fatal accidents by youngsters. Both drug and alchohol are responsible for these disasters.

Thank you DaijiWorld for your timely reporting which must be an eye opener to our youngsters.Thank you Mr.Daya for your exhaustive photographs!Mau be because the car belonged to Mandovi,Shambhavi saved them!!!

This shows the irresponsibility of drivers to test cars that have not been used on regular roads. The dynamics of the vehicle is not correct hence the tragedy. Hope the company takes a good look at this such that others are not hurt in future
