Mangalore, Apr 16: Violence again disrupted normal life in Kasargod district following the murder of a 18-year-old young man at Anebagilu on Wednesday, April 16.

The murdered has been identified as Mohammad Sinan (18), a resident of Anebagilu. He was killed on the road while he was returning home after visiting the hospital.

The culprits stopped his bike at Anebagilu and stabbed him severely several times with knife. Mohammad succumbed to injuries while on his way to a private hospital in Mangalore.

Mohammad Sinan

Mohammad Sinan had recently finished his plus two education and was working in a spare parts shop. Sources informed that rivalry and bad blood between two parties resulted in his murder.

A certain Sandeep (24) was murdered at new bus stand at Kasargod on Monday, April 14 evening for a silly reason. A group of youth had murdered him after a hot debate near a mosque. He was an active member of a party for many years.  Accordingly a bundh call was given following his murder in Kasargod on Tuesday April 15.

Some trusted sources said that Mohammad has been murdered to avenge Sandeep’s killing.

Those who initiated the the bloodshed and communal clashes should be brought to justice immediately and clear message should be sent to those 'trouble maker' communities/groups! We need peace.
