Doha, Apr 17: Mangalore Cultural Association presents, GULF VOICE of MANGALORE, a reality show, open to singers of Mangalore origin with residence in Qatar, born on or before 15th October 1990. Visit visa holders are not entitled for the competition.

The auditions in Qatar will be held on Friday 6th June 2008 from 3.30 p.m. onwards at the Qatar Malayalee Samajam Hall, Muntazah. 12 singers will be selected by a local preliminary judging panel for the Semifinals.

Semifinals will be held on 10th October 2008 in Doha. A jury consisiting of Wilfy Rebimbus, Melvyn Peris and Joel Pereira will select 2 finalists from Qatar who will be participating in the finals to be held in Kuwait on17th October 2008


You could be the ‘Gulf Voice of Mangalore’ and the winner of Rs 100,000

Please submit your application forms duly filled by the 15th of May 2008, with the following:

 a) A copy of your passport or Identity card as a proof of residence and age.
b) 2 recent Photographs
c) A complete CV
d) Short (100-150 words) typewritten biography (studies/performances/prizes etc) in English
e) Registration fee: QR. 50/-
