Tel Aviv: Konkani movie 'Sophiya' receives brimming success in Israel

Tel Aviv, Jul 10: Konkani movie Sophiya was successfully screened at Cinematheque, Israel on July 8 at 5 pm.

The movie was received with a positive response and was a complete sell out. The audience of around 500 people greatly appreciated the movie.



Sophiya was the third successful Konkani movie released in Israel. Profit from the movie will be directly used for the welfare of three different families including an NGO in Mangaluru.

The organisers for the screening of the movie were Praveen Vamanjoor. Satthu Paladka. Sunil Nakre.
