Mangalore: Bike Riders Gear up for Gulf Cup Dirt Track Racing

Mangalore, Apr 26: The rush of adrenaline among bike riders is at full throttle as they get ready to witness what is perhaps the biggest biking event the city has seen in recent times. The first round of Gulf Cup Dirt Track racing will be held at Karavali Utsav Grounds here on Sunday April 27.

Dirt Track is a thrilling spectacular in-stadia event with high level of participation. The event has recieved record 170 entries. There are various classes and groups, making this event interesting. Riders from Mumbai, Delhi, Pune, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Nashik, Nagpur, Jodhpur, Indore, Ahmedabad and Jaipur have come to show their skills.

The riders had a practice session at the Karavali Utsav Grounds on Saturday April 26. The qualifying session was also held on the same day.

The main event will be flagged-off at 9 am, followed by a prize distribution ceremony.
