Udupi: Scintillating DJ Joyce to Bring 'Joys' of Music to Malpe on May 1

Udupi, Apr 30: Music is all set to rock Malpe as world famous lady DJ Joyce Mercedes from Amsterdam along with DJ Cyrus, DJ Raj and DJ Rushil performs here on Thursday May 1. The name of the event is 'Blow- The Music Festival,' organized by Shaloms Club of Manipal. The event will start at 3 pm and will go on till next day morning around 6 am. Food stalls will also be set up at Paradise Isle Resort, Malpe to tantalize one's taste buds.

'It is for the first time a lady DJ of international recognition is coming down to Malpe. So we are expecting a huge crowd to gather at Malpe on the day of the event. I am quite sure that many music buffs from Manipal and other nearby places will come to literally dance to the tunes of Joyce Mercedes,' said Ankur Aggarwal, one of the main organizers of the event.

Students of Manipal are equally excited about the event. 'I am a great fan of music and have heard a lot about Joyce. I really became ecstatic when I heard from someone that she is coming down to Malpe to perform. I will definitely go to Malpe for this event,' exclaims Ravi Ranjan, a second year student of Manipal Institute of Technology.

Joyce Mercedes is an international DJ of great stature and talent. She has travelled all around the globe and has displayed her immense passion for music in the largest and most popular clubs in the world. She has shared stages with names such as John Digweed, Sasha, Anthony Pappa, James Holden, Paul van Dyk, Chris Fortier and Derrick May. During her career, Joyce Mercedes has performed in more than 47 different countries. This is her first visit to India and during this trip she will also perform at Mumbai and Pune.
