Dubai: Godwin Castelino Elected President of Konkan Yuva

Dubai, May 1: KONKAN YUVA, the youth wing of St Mary’s Konkani Community Dubai, established on the 4th February 2005 for the youth of Konkani region which serves the youth wing of the society with the main Motto of  “HOME AWAY FROM HOME” .

Moving with the Objective of Play, Stay & Pray together binding all the youths under one umbrella, Konkan Yuva successfully completed its third tenure and elected its new office bearers for the term 2008 – 2009 under the guidance of Fr. Freddy during the general body meeting held on 30th March.

Here below are the names of the new core committee for the year 2008-2009:

Fr. Freddy in his speech expressed his happiness on KY activities and wished luck to the new committee. He also congratulated the previous core committee members for their selfless dedication and hard work in binding the youth under one umbrella.

Out going President Mamtha thanked all the members for their support and   co-operation extended during her tenure. She also requested the members to extend the same support and co-operation to the new President.
Godwin Castelino the newly elected President is a wrap up of enormous talent and vigor has been a dedicated member serving KY from the past 4 years.  

KONKAN YUVA under the leadership of Godwin Castelino assures to host many more eminent events and activities for the youth, promising to keep the spirit of youth always kindled.
