Mangalore: White Doves' Gospel Music Festival Enchants City

Mangalore, May 10: It was a perfect blend of spirituality and music as White Doves, a social and spiritual service institution organized a Gospel Music Festival at St Agnes Special School grounds on Saturday, May 10 evening.

The festival was filled with live music in praise of Jesus Christ and worship. Vivienne Pocha of Mumbai led the festival backed by the White Doves choir. Fr Jose of Mumbai and Fr Augustine Mundackkut of Kerala delivered spiritual messages on the occasion.

Theo Alvares of Mumbai, Robert D’Souza of Bangalore, Nelson of Mumbai, Melwyn Lobo of Kuwait, Oscar Weltha, Joel Rodrigues, Melwyn Fernandes and Jerome accompanied the team on various instruments.

    Looks like something great that I missed. By looking at the photographs, one can imagine how fantastic the program must have been. I got all the news from Mangalore and also had an opportunity to speak to Fr. Jobi over the phone, who sounded so simple and holy.     Great works through past many years. Word of God and Gospel singing, stage setting was wonderful. political matters shouldn't have come in between Evangelization. Mouth organ did not made any impact on the programme Thank you.

    CONGRATULATIONS to Corrine, Vitus and the entire team of the WHITE DOVES. It was an excellent performance for the LORD., and in bringing the young,old and the youth together. Your hard work has really paid off.....I must say the choir has done a wonderful job....Vivian Pocha's voice was unbeliveable......Fr. Jobi's testimony was very touching and Fr. Augustine Mundackkut's message was an eye opener for all of us. God bless the entire White Doves team, the singers, musicians, organizers for the wonderful Praise and Worship we had these 2 days.

    Congrats to White Doves group for your effort to bring the youth and devotees to Christ. Preaching Fr. Mundakat was inspiring and heart touching. The Music was fantastic and the singing was really wonderful. Only the sad part was less crowd, perhaps the announcement was not powerful.All the best to Mrs. Coleen & group.Thanks for your dedication and hard work.

    It was really a wonderful show. I have attended it. Congratulations to the entire team! Nice to see Maxy Karkada, Oscar Weltha and other talented personalities on the stage after a log time. Fr. Joby's message was inspiring. But he could have reduced a bit shorter. Well Done White Doves!
