I was thinking how to become rich in no time. Now I know how. Can someone explain to me how I can get a ticket to contest, be it from any party because my intention is only to accumulate money. But I doubt any party will give me a ticket to contest because I may not have the qualifications they are looking for perhaps. The qualifications the parties are looking for perhaps ones capacity to make quick and maximum money before the next elections. This is not the talent?

Whoever makes maximum will get the ticket to coontest in the next elections as well perhaps. Or some good samarithans, those who made enough for their generations and satisfied, will give the opportunity to others also to make money. But what the voters benefit? Perhaps A salute once in five years or the voters will think they are honoured because a guy, who is going to become rich, asking them to bless him as he joins his palms when he comes for asking vote or perhaps a 100 rupee note.

Thanks to ARD, for publishing the report. There is a saying in Kannada ‘Jana marulo Jatre marulo’. It is a million dollar question indeed. Politicians can not be blamed alone. It is the system and the people who have accepted one such, are also equally responsible. The most interesting finding of various polls associated surveys is the fact that no more Corruption is an issue among voters. This shows, Corruption has become most widely accepted, a formidable way of life for MUTUAL BENEFIT.

The ARD findings are clearly showing that there are THUGS in all political party and no party is a saint. Now it is left to public, which thug they prefer for getting fooled. I think the most important issue should have been eradication of poverty and provision of equal economic opportunities. These core issues are sidelined by community, caste, religion based Politics and the Politicians/Party are encashing the same. Every voter wish to have some one from his cast, community, religion to rule them, expecting that these leaders will provide socio-economic justice.

Our constitution has guaranteed equal status, opportunity, to all citizen of this nation, which common voter fails to understand. It is our right to expect these RIGHTS is delivered at our door steps through, these elected representatives. Mean while in a democratic society the voter also has certain DUTIES, to be performed for the survival of democracy, which I think is totally snubbed off. However, I feel

Lokayukta, has roll to play at present scenario, related to ARD survey. Lokayukta recent visit to mining locations and thereafter statements owing to expose mining lobby is eagerly awaited. But I sincerely doubt our Netas granting supreme power to Lokayukta. Meanwhile, citizen of Mangaluru, voluntarily forming such an association, which investigate Political personalities,People in public life’s assets right from 1947 to till date, can expose many black sheep. I think this will be an eye opener to many Voters, whose vision is masked under the pretext of Community, Religion, so on and so forth. But who will bell the cat ?

The candidates of any party spend a lot for getting tickets and then for catching votes and if th law is to make them only retain the assets they held on date of contest and the date of next election plus what is legally earned by way of emoluments, perhaps they would think twice to contest the election.

Why trouble the CBI? I would just get an explaination from the taxman for the EC and general public's benifit. After all arn't the taxman considered a menace by the middle class incomed people who are fined 10 times the amount as fine if they miss declaring paltry sum they got from some xyz source as hard earned renumeration? Last but not least, like all public documents, public servants assests should also be open to public. I don't think they can hide their private life (read: money strapped to the back of the toilet) when they want to be so much part of the public.

Finally the politicians are exposed openly!that too by the professors of IIM. We salute you Prof. Trilochan Sastry for your brain behind ARD, its high time India needed this to happen, you have done what our judiciary & the central agencies could not do till date. I hope the Govt. takes this up seriously, investigate and book this Desh Drohi criminals in white khadi. This is the first time that the election commission has been very effective, that the citizens can know how much each of their elected representatives are worth. Now we got to see how this information is used to bring justice and clean the system? All responsible citizen should get together and pressurise the CBI to take action on this issue, only then we can become a respected, prosperous country in the universe.

And our Union Finance Ministers in every Budget Speech try to find more avenues to tax the common man in the form of TDS, Service Tax, VAT, MAT, Cess, Surcharge etc. etc. and the tax we pay enriches politicians like this. This is only the tip of iceberg and not the iceberg itself.

Winning election is a big lottry -it is just good bussiness without investing a single rupee in to bussiness. It is very clear no doubt  once they are elected they forget about people and their promises. we the citizens of Indian have to understand and teach a lesson to all the politician otherwise this process will go on & onso pls open you eyes and see what is going on?.
