Bengaluru: Ganapati death evidence destruction - Yeddy accuses Kempaiah, demands CBI probe

Daijiworld Media Network - Bengaluru (SP)

Bengaluru, Aug 25: "Destruction of evidence in deputy supeintendent of police, M K Ganapati's suicide case involves the question of the government's responsibility. Therefore, chief minister (CM), Siddaramaiah, should own moral responsibility for this lapse and resign from his post," demanded state BJP president, B S Yeddyurappa.

Addressing a press conference here on Thursday August 24, Yeddyurappa demanded investigation by Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) about destruction of evidences and failure of criminal investigation department in not taking into account the report of the forensic science laboratory when preparing its report. He said that Siddaramaiah is entirely responsible for this lapse and demanded his resignation.

"Chief minister, Siddaramaiah, and minister, K J George, should own moral responsibility for this incident and resign from their posts. In case of their failure to do so, our party will launch state-wide agitation against the government. We will also approach union home minister, Rajnath Singh, seeking central government's intervention and entrusting of the case to CBI," he explained. He said that if possible, the Prime Minister will also be apprised of the issue through a petition.

Yeddyurappa accused adviser to home minister, Kempaiah, of playing a major role in destruction of evidence. He said that telephone records, information in computer etc have been deleted because of apprehension that involvement of many officers and ruling party leaders in the case might come out into the open.

BJP and yeddy both lost their minds.Somehow they want to do some kind of controversies and divert kannadigas mind. But less they know that kannadigas are smart enough.they know All these years Yeddy and his party was silent and now all of sudden just months before his election they just spread lies and rumours just to defame congress. I feel current chief minister is the best of all.He is daring and he has done developments and he was not involved in any corruption.

You can blame Sidhu if your house toilet flush doesn't work too..:). have some commonsense .. did Sidhu visit in person to collect evidence.. then why do we have administration.. just becuase he is CM doesn't mean that he has to take responsibility for every issue including your house issue.. wake up man..
