Dubai: Lakumi Troupe Arrives to Perform Twin Plays

Dubai, May 21: ‘Lakumi,’ well-known Tulu drama troupe arrived in Dubai City of Gold on May 21 at 2.00 pm.  They were very well received by the committee members of Namma Tuluver in a traditional manner which is unique-of-its-kind in this part of the world, offering tender coconut to the troupe.

This is the first time “Lakumi” will stage its most popular dramas ‘Anchilatt Inchilatt’ and ‘Nambunane Nambodu’ in UAE.

The programme will kick off at Shk Rashid Auditorium on May 23 with the guests flowing in from Muscat, Qatar and other neighboring Gulf countries. 

The programme will start sharp at 3.30 pm  with Nambunane Nambodum.

Second stage programme will start at 7.00 pm sharp during which  Anchilatt Inchilatt will be staged.
