Mangaluru: Rain intensity to increase over coastal Karnataka

Mangaluru, Aug 26: As per reports, coastal districts of Karnataka will receive heavier rains in the coming days.
The west coast of the country has been continuously receiving on and off rains. Konkan, Goa and coastal Karnataka have witnessed moderate to heavy rains at many places in the past 10 days. The intensity of rains is expected to go up in Dakshina Kannada, Udupi and Uttara Kannada from Saturday onwards.

Light intensity rain of 15.3 mm was recorded in Mangaluru city from Thursday to Friday morning.

It rained lightly throughout the day on Friday and continued till Saturday morning with intervals. All parts of coastal Karnataka witnessed the same.

Thick clouds are spotted in many areas of coastal districts on Saturday morning.
