Kuwait: Mangalorean Girls Shine at CBSE XII

Kuwait, May 28: It was a fabulous Friday on May 27. Students, parents and teachers were glued to the net anxiously awaiting the class XII CBSE results. The tension grew, and as the first results began trickling in Carmelites were thrilled, seeing their hard work being reflected in the high marks. As minutes passed by joy turned to elation!
Their results viewed in wider prospective revealed that theirs was indeed a performance of unprecedented magnitude.
Among top scorers many of them were from Mangalore and Goa, especially girls.
Mangalorean girl Coral Pais stands first in Kuwait, talented teenage singer Muriel Mascarenhas bags third place in Kuwait.
The first four positions in Kuwait were clinched by five Carmelites. Moreover the first place in physics in Kuwait was also secured by Carmel.
Coral (Jewel in CSK's Crown) was overall first in Kuwait and 2nd in Gulf while Shreedhar came first in physics in the Gulf, overall second in Kuwait and third in Gulf region.
Tears of joy freely flowed and there was indescribable jubilation in the homes of Carmel's famous five - Coral, Shreedhar, Muriel, Christabelle and Varghese.
They were a true breed of Carmel as they have been nurtured by Carmel from LKG to the XII
