M'luru: Srinivas Institute of Technology inaugurates VOLMAS

Mangaluru, Oct 13: Srinivas Institute of Technology, on Thursday, October 12, inaugurated its MBA students' association VOLMAS.

Chief guest for the programme, Fr Alwin Serrao, principal, Padua College of Commerce and Management, Nantoor, emphasised the importance of such associations and about the leadership skills that every management student must possess. He advised students how to lead a balanced life.


    

President of the function, Dr Shrinivasa Mayya D, principal of the college, congratulated association members for forming the association and adding new activities. He said more activities should be conducted by the association for the development of students. He emphasised the importance of management skills and ways to deal with various situations. Office bearers were introduced by staff coordinator of VOLMAS prof Praveena D, Devika K. Secretary of VOLMAS read out the action plan for the academic year. Arvin Irel D’Souza proposed the vote of thanks. Prof Hariprakash U P , head of MBA department was  present on the occasion. Pooja V and Nidha Ayesha were masters of the ceremony.
