Mangaluru: Jewellery, cash stolen from car at Panambur beach

Mangaluru, Oct 26: In an incident that occurred on the evening of October 22, gold ornaments and cash worth Rs 45,000 were stolen from a car that was parked near Panambur beach.

Sandeep, his mother Shantha and other family members went to Panambur beach at around 5 pm and parked their car near K K gate. When they returned after half an hour, they found the window of the car half open and the gold ornaments missing. ATM card, bank passbook and other documents along with Rs 4,000 cash that was kept in Shantha’s bag was also missing.

A case stands registered in this regard at Panambur police station.

    How fool should be the person to leave the bag with all necessary things in it visible to everyone.and go to beach?Beach visitors are not only honest ones,but all catagory.s.who seek a chance to snap.such chance would almost noone let go she could have atleast hide it in dicky.Are there no guards at the parking place?very suspicious.noone saw?wish she will get back.

    First of all ...the culprits should be punished...but the owner of the bag is quite foolish to keep valuables in a car when they go out to places like the beach...lesson to be learnt by all people..
