Mangaluru: Sangeet Bharati lines up series of musical treats, starting Dec 17

Mangaluru, Nov 27: Sangeet Bharati Foundation will hold the prestigious 'Swar - Bhandhan' music programme on December 17 at 6 pm in Sharada Vidyalaya's Dhyana Mandir, Kodialbail here.

In the first half, popular harmonium artiste Pt Sudhanshu Kulkarni and Dr Ravindra Katoti will perform a jugalbandi programme. Another jugalbandi will be performed in the second half by Padmabushan Pt Rajanish Mishra of New Delhi and Ritesh Mishra.

On January 28, 2018, on account of Car Festival, Padmashree Pt M Venkatesh Kumar will carry out a Bhakti Rath programme at Shree Venkataramna Temple hall at 6 pm.

There will be 'Sa–maa–ga–ma', a two-day music programme on February 24 and 25, 2018 wherein popular artistes like Jayateerth Mevundi, Prasanna Korti, Basti Kavitha Shenoy, and Jaipur’s Mohammed Aman of Zee
Saregama 2012 fame and Kolkata’s Sitarist Abhishek Lahiri will take part. This programme is open to all, and all music lovers are requested to benefit from this programme.

Sangeet Bharati Foundation vice-president Narendra L Nayak has specially invited all music lovers to grace the programme.
