Mangalore: Prohibitory Orders in MCC Vicinity from Aug 11

MANGALORE, Aug 10: The District Magistrate M. Maheshwar Rao has imposed ban orders in the vicinity of Mangalore City Corporation building here. Starting Monday August 11, the ban orders will be in force till August 25.

No assembly of groups larger than five people will be allowed in the 500-metre radius of the corporation building.

The order has been passed under Section 144 of the criminal procedure code.
