Mangalore: Emirates Paradela Scholarship Disbursal Programme at Samanvaya

Emirates Paradela UAE and Samanvaya jointly organized training cum scholarship disbursal programme at Samanvaya Conference hall on Sunday August 17.  During the programme 69 brilliant poor students were given a total sum of around Rs 4 lac as scholarships.
 
The stage function was presided over by Frankline D'Cunha, president of Emirates Paradela UAE along with Jerald D'Mello, treasurer, as chief guest.  A few scholarship students shared their joy of receiving scholarships from the prestigious institute of Emirates Paradela and voiced their gratitude. They promised to support the marginalized and poor students when they get employed as a sign of their gratitude.
 
Frankline D'Cunha along with Gerald D'Mello, Benette D'Mello, Rodolf D'Souza, Alan D'Mello, Arun D'Souza, Philomena D'Cunha, Audry D'Mello and Predita D'Mello distributed scholarships.  Frankline D'Cunha expressed his joy over the function and the work done by Samanvaya in its first decade of existence.  He asked the scholarship students to grow with knowledge and values and to help the needy, sick and intelligent poor students during their professional career.

Emirates Paradela has resolved to distribute Rs 10 lac in this current year, out of which Rs 4 lac has been distributed to 69 students through Samanvaya. Among the students were 14 high school, 17 PUC, 13 graduation, 5 B.Ed., 4 diploma in engineering, 5 B.Sc. nursing, 3 general nursing, 1 diploma in animation, 6 BE and 1 MBA student.  Another 33 students will be given Rs 1 lac shortly.  Rs 5 lac will be distributed to cancer patients for their treatment within a fortnight at Samanvaya campus, Urwastores.
 
An informative training on environment protection was conducted by Dr Ronald Cutinha, director of Samanvaya by displaying slides. 
 
Dr Cutinha welcomed the gathering, Rolen Rodrigues thanked and Deepak Melwyn compered.  The prayer song was led by Tania and team. There were 85 people including the 69 scholarship students who participated in this event.

    Good work done. paradelas a talented group. I wish some of them had ventured into politics they would have been a success. However greener pastures in the gulf led an exodus leaving behind none from where it originated " Bejai". Hats off.

There are few organisations here who exploit by the name of poor, but, never meet the requriement of the needy people..May God lead you to the success and God Bless you all for taking such step..
