Phone in programme is a good option given to Citizens to air their grievances without fear. They should include the presence of DC, MCC Commissioner and Local MLA's , But the Programme should be done once in a quarter. It is only my suggestion.

This phone in programme is such a WOT, first let the Cops on duty, do their work properly and not stand in the shade and full time on their mobiles, especially during peak time.

Where there is no U-turn, Autos turn in front of the cops (Lal Bagh Signal).
No Cops at Bharath Mall Jn, Buses turn into the stand as if they r driving in their house compound.
Though its one way at the Kuloor Service Road, Autos and Bikes ply, with Cops standing there doing nothing.
Cops at Empire Mall Jn, dont care about the Buses stopping in the middle of the Road, instead of the Bus Stop, but shouts at Customers who slow their cars to turn park in Empire Mall.

Make buses stick to one side of the road. They should not be allowed to over take. Many cities have designated bus lanes.
This solves half the traffic issue because in order to get to bus stand they will come from extreme right to extreme left or park right in the center.
Keeping a bus stand near a traffic signal is really stupid idea considering the buses from the extreme left suddenly devicates to extreme right . Instead keep one in between major roads. So you will have two instead of four in one stretch.
MG road to lalbagh has 6 bus stops. Bunts hostel- kodialbail has 6 , kankanady Valencia bendoorwell is a nightmare.
Start planning smart. If needed ask me for suggestions

The city buses do not issue tickets to passengers a very big issue. The conductors only collect money and no tickets issued to any passengers. The private bus mafia should be abolished and the transport system should be looked after by the Govt. transport corporation.
Regarding the GHS road after concretion pedestrians are surely finding it difficult to walk on the roads.
Even the footpath near Srinivas hotel is in very bad condition.
On K.S. Rao road there are cars, delivery vehicles parked comfortably on the footpath and hindering pedestrians to walk on the footpath, because of this pedestrians have to walk on the road and risk their lives. Looks like the police are not bothered and only waiting someone to sacrifice their life.

Vaccum horns are in use big time, even after checking and fines imposed no rules are followed thereafter. Giving complaints is one aspect the next important thing is follow up and see that issues are not repeated.
