Does any God need gold , silver and luxury ? Keep the God only in wooden or stone form which will create more devotion.
If any temple is having excess fund, please spend it for the education and food of lesser privileged ones. God bless all.

Like wise you also are not attached to gold I feel .. give away your ornaments to the poor . People do go door to door to make ornaments for god . He doesn't want anything so we shouldn't make anything . But a Gaud Saraswat Brahman are the people treat god as family so we do make gold for them .. it's easy to say but when you loose your 100 rupees check how hyper you get .

Yes I am not attached to gold and do not wear any gold ornament. I do not allow my family members to exhibit excess gold which can tempt others. My observation is not with reference to any GSB temples. You are free to use any amount of gold to your deities with your money.

Its not the temple who purchase or decorate the gold.. Its the devotee who offer or donate the gold, money to the god..
God doesn't need anything he expects only your true beliefs , true prayers .. Other than that whatever you do is for your satisfaction only. (Even lighting candles, diyas, Sunday prayers, processions or anything) After all its devotees wish to offer anything to lord for his satisfaction, but no other person need to obstruct , get jealous his way of praying...

These robbers neither have fear of God nor police/court/punishment...how courageous these people to enter the temple and do the robbery and pass through the house of dieties??? Very soon these people end up their lives in a very sad and suffering manner...even their repentance won't cure them...
Many devotees fulfil their promises whichever way they can...thats their hard earned money... Curse on these robbers...
