Dubai, Sep 5: St Mary's Konkan Community(SMKC) Dubai has announced through a media release, the names of the winners of the Scholastic Awards, meant for those students who score highest aggregate marks in the final examination of the scholastic calendar year 2007-08. The names of winners are as follows:

1. 10th Standard : Coleen Iona Quadros (92%)

2. 12th Standard (Commerce) : Jacqueline Hycinth Pinto (91%)

3. 12th Standard (Arts) : Jennifer Antionette Dsouza (86.4%)

Chief Coordinator of SMKC Dubai, Boniface Carlo said, that the objective of giving away scholastic awards to the achievers, is to recognize the hard work and achievements of students. SMKC has congratulated the winners and wished them every success in the years to come. 
 
The winners will be awarded a cash gift and  presented with a SMKC Scholastic Award certificate on Nativity Feast Day, Monday September 8, after the 8 pm Konkani Mass.
 
SMKC has, through the release, requested the winners to be present for the Konkani Mass as stated above, to receive their awards.
