Puttur, Jul 29: Officials of the Prime Minister's (PM) office got in touch with Rakshit from Kudala in Ichilampady here recently. Rakshit had complained about the weak mobile network signals in his native place.
This incident has again brought before the people the commitment with which the Narendra Modi-led central government has been functioning in order to respond to the problems of the common people.
In a complaint registered through Modi App a month back, Rakshit had mentioned about the improper mobile network and internet services in his village. He also had expressed the view that the Prime Minister's 'Digital India' concept can become fruitful only if the network in villages is strengthened.
Officials of Prime Minister's office, who contacted Rakshit on July 26 obtained information about the current position of mobile services and other details about his village, informed him that his contact number has been provided to mobile services compaies and that they have been asked to get in touch with him and solve problems faced by him.
Officials of BSNL and Docomo contacted him the very next day, July 27, and informed him that technical officials of the concerns would soon visit Ichilampady and undertake necessary survey. They said they would contact Rakshit if found necessary during this visit.
Expressing elation at the way his complaint has been handled, Rakshit Kudala said that he is amazed at the quick response he got for his complaint, which even is difficult to expect from panchayat level officials. He said this development has strengthened his feeling that India is changing, duly expressing the view that the common people should join hands with total commitment in the people-friendly initiatives of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
