Bangalore, Oct 27: Billawas Dubai & Northern N.E., the only registered association for Billawas in the U.A.E., an organisation purely onto charity works is a shining star today not only in UAE but elsewhere including India the home of Billawas.  The popularity of Billawas Dubai & N.E. has grown stronger again after their brilliant and vibrant 11th anniversary programme held recently with over crowded fellow Billawas participation
 
The result is an invitation recently received by Billawa Association of Bangalore who have appreciated and invited whole heartedly the President of Billawas Dubai & N.E. , Umesh Kuckian for a felicitation programme to be held at Bangalore on 2nd of November, 2008.  Umesh Kuckian will be flying to Bangalore to receive the honour on behalf of Billawas Dubai & N.E.  Billawa Association Bangalore is also one of the largest community organization doing lot of good works for the community in large.
 
Umesh Kuckian will be felicitated in a grand ceremony at Bangalore by Billawara Association in the presence of famous State personalities including V.S Acharya, Honorable Minister, Home Affairs, Govt. of Karnataka, J.D Naik, MLA Bhatkal Constituency,  Gopala Krishna Belur, MLA, Sagara Constituency, P.M Ashok, MLA Ramadurga Constituency and many more strong invitees.

About Umesh Vasu Kuckian
 
Umesh Vasu Kuckian, son of Late Vasu Kotian and Puttamma Kotian, was brought up in Mumbai, Graduated at MMK College and also completed LLB from Siddharth College of Law, Mumbai.
 
He arrived to City of Gold, Dubai in 1989 and presently serving as Finance Manager in a Private firm.  He simultaneously has ventured to his own business since 2004.
 
Though Billawas Dubai & N.E. was founded in 1997 it was in the year 2004, Billawa  Community people decided to form the committee for the 1st time and it was Umesh who was unanimously elected as the first President.  With his capability, sincerity and hard work, he has lifted Billawas Dubai & Northern Emirates to its epitome.
 
Presently with the 45 committee member in the association, under his leadership, Billawas organized various social activities to fulfill the objectives for students, medical aid for needy people irrespective of caste, creed and religion, financial help for marriage of under privileged girls and widows etc., being the main agenda.
 
One of the incidents to remember was Billawas Dubai & N.E. Scholarship function held in Kudroli temple in presence of Janardhan Poojary- Ex Finance Minister, which was highly appreciated by the whole community back in Mangalore.
 
Umesh is being recognized by the various Organizations not only in UAE. but also by various organizations back home In India.
 
Felicitated
 
For the first time Billawa Association. Mumbai honored Umesh Kuckian and it was by  Jaya C Suvarna - President of Billawa Association, .Mumbai, on their platinum Jubilee in the year 2007.
 
This year Gurunarayana Charitable Trust and Yuva Vahini Suratkal felicitated Umesh Kuckian in presence of Vinaya Kumar Sorake - Ex MP in Mulky during one of the charity distribution function held there in the presence of large number of community people and stalwarts.
 
Umesh Vasu Kukian also served Tulu Koota and worked as assistant treasurer in Muscat during his past years in Oman.
