Dubai, Nov 2: Mangalore Konkans Dubai, a renowned  name in the  Konkani organizers list  will be completing 20 years and achieving  another  milestone on Nov 28, 2008 . They will be  celebrating this event in  a unique 20-20  style.

The entertainment event will consist of  Mangalorean and Goan artistes flying all the way from India to partake in the historic event to be held on Nov 28, 2008 at Al Naser Leisure Land from 5pm onwards.

It will be a day filled with 20-20's. To begin  with, there will TOP 20  Konkani songs (Manglorean & Goan), 20 stage artistes, 20 spot prizes, 20 novelty prizes, 20 entrance ticket prizes and many more.

Top band FUSION will support the singers with live music .  Top comedian of the Konkani world DOLLA  will keep the audience laughing.  Young and talented singers Ashwin, charming Esther Noronha from Mangalore, Anceto & Valanka from Goa along with Ratan Castelino, Vijesh Peris, Dony Correa and Asha Fernandes from Dubai  are all set to  sing some of the best Konkani songs.

Dancing to the melodiously slow songs and lively fast numbers including novelty dance will certainly make one get their money’s worth , joining Mangalore Konkans Dubai, Gulf's premier organization, celebrate their anniversary.  Tickets are priced at Dhs 80 for adults and Dhs 50 for children ( 5 to 12 years).

James Mendonca, the ever enthusiastic  and popular leader of Mangalore Konkans was of  full of praise for his entire band for their  dedicated service and commitment for the social cause.

"If we look back, we have achieved a lot but there is  still a long way to go. But what is most satisfying is we have reached the needy people, we worked for Konkani language and culture and we always worked as a team" he said.

As always,  Mangalore Konkans has tried to bring variety into the event by mixing best artistes from both Mangalore and Goa.  The recent Gulf Voice of Mangalore ,UAE star Dony Correa will  also be a special attraction.

Manohar Pais, a compere for all occasions, with  his lengthy experience, presently located in Kuwait , will take charge of the event to entertain the audience using vocabulary and style  to suit the event.
