    to all the insensitive and inhuman people above in the comments who do not know these kids personally;
    I personally know them and know how good they are. accidents happen all the time and can't always be blamed on a person's lifestyle. what has to happen will happen, no matter what measures we take. even the purest of purest man may face the same thing if thats his fate. all that we can do now is to pray for Aivan's soul to rest in peace and for the speedy recovery of the injured ones.
    and to those who kept saying about the deceased impressing girls; I can't believe how inhuman you people and I'm soo sad that you have such nut shelly minds who cant even care about the feelings of other people.

    kindly don't comment on this without knowing the kids in person and without knowing the intensity of the situation.
    kindly show some humanly nature.
    learn to respect the feelings of people close to him.
    thanks.

    "What has to happen will happen, no matter what measures we take" is a detailed version of "fate".

    If fate decided everything, no vehicle needed any safety features like special brakes, seat-belts, air-bags, helmets in the case of bikes, etc.

    With sufficient precautions, accidents can be minimised.

    For example, drivers in their 40s statistically have far fewer accidents in comparison to the accidents among 18-25 old drivers. Is it fate, or is it because the drivers in their 40s are more cautious drivers?

    A majority of the 18-25 old drivers are not cautious while driving. Statistics around the world prove it.

    So please do not bring fate in. Instead demand stringent testing of behaviour before granting the license.

    To all the inhumane, insensitive, inconsiderate people in the comments,, none of us who were not involved in the incident know what actually happened. Stop jumping to conclusions, making assumptions and generalizing people. No matter what one was doing, what time it was, who they were with doesnt justify why they deserve to be in this condition. No one deserves death. No one deserves the turmoil of having to go through watching their close ones pass away in front of their eyes. Where has humanity gone?
    The world just lost a wonderful human. Please pay some respect and wish peace upon his soul. Please respect the ones involved in this tragedy.

    Give driving license to under-25s without stringent tests, and such results are quite expected.

    Terrible. Especially for the seriously injured who oftentimes end up spending the rest of their lives wheelchair-bound.

    Most unfortunate accident. Speeding and probably not wearing a seat belt must be the cause of the death of the NITK student and also seriously injuring three others. RIP, Ivan Anil Kumar. Wish a speedy recovery of the injured Deepika, Irene and Varun Vijith.
