Mangaluru Sep 30: A Bajrang Dal activist was assaulted at Asaigoli on Sunday night, September 30.

The incident happened at Vaibhav Bar at Asaigoli.

Ramesh (26) is the person who was attacked.

It is said that Shameer, Ilyas, Shawaz and Ramesh had some arguments on a trivial issue. At that time Shameer, Ilyas and Shawaz hit Ramesh on his nose and scratched his hands with a key.

It is said that all of them were under the influence of alcohol.

While Shawaz was caught and handed over to police, others managed to run from the bar. 

Ramesh was taken to a local hospital and treated as outpatient.

Police commissioner T R Suresh, DCP Uma Prashanth, police personnel from Konaje and Ullal visited the place. 

Police are investigating the case.

    Its not fair. The hindu becomes a activist if he get injured and a Muslim becomes a traitor if he hit someone even on self defense.
    A Muslim becomes a traitor even if buy a cattle or he is gazing the cattle.

    Our mangalore will not develop. Most of the youngstars are migrating to Bangalore or other bigger cities for employment due to the lack of opportunities here. We are still bound with caste/ community that wing this wing etc etc. Even smaller cities than mangalore are overtaking mangalore in terms of development.

    All of them were under the influence of alcohol and met at a common place, bar. Now why they should be given a different colour saying. Bajrang Dal activist assaulted at Asaigoli. Bajrang Dal has nothing to do with this private personal bar incident.

    All religion and their faith and rules are good. But our people's are not good. They give respect only their religion. And insulting and making fun to other religion and god. They don't know how to respect people ... senior citizen... women... and animals. We can easily make out in the public and in comments who are good and who are bad. who is insulting other religion they are worst people and they are not happy in their life. Who is giving respect to other religion .. really they are good personality and they are happiest person in this world. God will give them happy, healthy and long life. Wherever they go they will get good response from Public . So.. Please give respect to other religion. Give respect to our country. Please don't spoil our peace just because of election... seat.. dirty politics.

    When people pray Inside the church, Temple & Mosque all pretend that they are holy.
