Mangaluru: Revenue inspector dies of cardiac arrest while riding bike

Mangaluru, Oct 1: A revenue inspector died of cardiac arrest while riding bike here in Thokkottu on Sunday, September 30.

Devdas Shriyan (58), revenue inspector of Kotekar council, is the person deceased.

The incident occurred near Kolya on national highway 66 when Shriyan was riding his bike on Sunday evening. Immediately he was taken to hospital, but doctors declared him brought dead.

He is survived by wife and children.

A case has been registered at Ullal police station.
