Daijiworld Media Network - Mangaluru (MS)

Mangaluru, Oct 2: In an incident that occurred on the night of Sunday, September 30, a BJP worker, who was playing on the beach, was attacked by a group of people.

Shivanand (31), who was injured in the attack, has been admitted to a hospital in Suratkal.

Shivanand and his friends were playing the game of 'Lagori' on the beach at Gudlekoppa near Suratkal. A gang of around 15 people came to the same beach. Heated arguments ensued between the gang and the people playing on the beach with regards to picking of the ball.

Due to the heat of the argument, Hitesh, Bharat, Karthesh, Roopesh, Sharath, Sagar and others attacked Shivanand. When Shivanand went inside a nearby house to avoid the blows of the gang, it is said that the gang entered the house and continued the assault on him.

A case stands registered in this regard in Suratkal police station.

All after effects of selling God and religion for politics and vote. So devils are popping up and destroying one another. In 2019 cast your votes in all honesty and sincerity with God in our Conscience, to see Achche Din.

It is all personal rivalry or petty fights, 2/3 of the population in Tulunad is affiliated to any of the organisation.
Everyday we see fights in Mumbai street for trivial reasons, even in local trains, these are not in political nature.

Though these kind of stage managed shows not ruled out to divert the attention of intelligent people of coastal Karnataka., as we near General Election.., to divert the mind of people who got pinched in spiralling price day in & day out thru hike in petrol price..., I can only hope that police must trace & teach a lesson..,

Last but not the least..., Gau rakshak angle must also be investigated..., b'coz if we research & go by the statistics...of the back ground of the people involved in this profession, their economic status pre & post period ..., the lust for benefit makes people blind in their wisdom... and don't hesitate to act hysterically..., with animosity...

Second best views to counter the above is always welcome..,

Sitting in Dubai it is very easy comment. If you r so much confident of anti social activities why do y you come down and file a case. You can't rule out sickulars attacking BJP for their defeat /rout in recent election. Possibilities r there ex MLAs of many constituencies trying to divide the community by paying money they earned duro g their period
