Mangalore, Nov 7: The upper caste is victimizing the ‘Shoodras’ through the Sangh Parivar in India. Mahendra Kumar, former convener, state Bajarang Dal, is the recent example of this. He was provoked to fight against the churches in Karnataka and was eventually victimized. Therefore, all the Shoodras should come out from the Sangh Parivar to save themselves, said K L Ashok, general secretary, Karnataka Komu Souharda Vedike.
Addressing a protest against terrorism and oppression by the state, in front of the deputy commissioner’s office on Friday November 7, he said that one should learn a lesson from the episode of Mahendra Kumar. ‘Vaidiks’ of the upper caste, destroyed the Buddhist religion in the country long ago. At present, Sri Vishwesha Teertha Swami of Pejavar Math is requesting Dalits to not join the Buddhist religion. They have no right to touch or worship the God. But the ‘owners’ of Hinduism are losing their grip on others as the Shoodras are empowering themselves, he opined.
