New Delhi, Dec 13: As suspense escalated on who would be named the chief ministers of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, Jyotiraditya Scindia, one of the frontrunners for the post of Madhya Pradesh chief minister tweeted on Thursday evening that ' It was not a race but they were here to serve the people of Madhya Pradesh'.

Taking to twitter, Scindia after meeting Rahul Gandhi and party's central observers, said, "It is not a race, it is not about kursi, we are here to serve the people of Madhya Pradesh. I am leaving for Bhopal and you will get to know the decision today."

Earlier, K C Venugopal, AICC general secretary, former Congress president Sonia Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra held discussion with Rahul Gandhi about the choices for the new chief ministers. Kamal Nath and Jyotiraditya Scindia were in contention for the top post in Madhya Pradesh.

Rahul Gandhi held separate meeting with Jyotiraditya Scindia and Kamal Nath, the frontrunners for the post of Madhya Pradesh chief minister.

At the Congress' legislature party meeting yesterday, MLAs from both states passed an order saying the final decision will be that of Congress chief Rahul Gandhi.

    Jyotiraditya you said it right.. that's the spirit ... I cannot understand why Priyanka Gandhi is getting involved in making decision she as no contribution , she should stay out, maybe she and Vadra is planning to put Ruhul in trouble with something new scams.

    Work hard..
    dedicated..accountable.be transparent.

    do not use ..abuse..misuse them.
    Bring in top class Cream from every walk of life...
    professional.
    who can talk extempore..shake the stage....the ground with Facts: figures: statistics: reality
    wear 3piece suite..on foreign missions.
    .Regularly visit and mix with Grassroots farmers..villagers.
    understand them.. address them lift them up from poverty..
    Focus on:
    Quality Education for all
    Health for all.
    Employment for all.
    shelter for all.
    Build top class infrastructure..
    now declare : Agriculture and Industrial Revolution...
    provide jobs to all.
    bring in foreign industries from Japan.. Europe.. nordics.. Taiwan..etc.
    Be united....
    love peace and prosperity..
    Focus on 10% GDP.
    Build Economy all the way...
    bring back manmohna singh.

    Kamal Nath is new CM of MP as shown on NDTV just now. (9:21PM)

    I am also equally proud of magnanimous, forgiving Scindia, who will honestly work along with Nath, and people of MP, who has also has a bright political future, whose interview was also telecast on NDTV yesterday.

    Jyotiraditya Scindia is now, though young, is a matured man. He agreed to Congress President's suggestion that an elderly and more experienced man' Mr. Kamal Nath to take up the CM's post in Madhya Pradesh.

    This is the difference between congress and BJP. For BJP people have to serve them and even sacrifice their lives to BJP but congress is to serve people and sacrifice their lives for people if need be.
