Dubai, Dec 13: With the festive season upon us, a grand opportunity for children to celebrate with Santa Claus was well utilized at the Christmas Tree Party held at Winny’s Restaurant on Friday.
The banquet hall was filled to capacity as children of various ages were kept on their toes by the non stop Christmas music played by DJ cum compere Mary Anne. As the children entered, they were quickly grouped into various teams for the games and one saw some fine games with fierce competition even from the tiniest of children enjoying on the floor. Plenty of festive music added to the atmosphere and one felt happy to see such beautiful angels enjoying freely for once from the clutches of their parents. Jemma and Roopesh chipped in with their assistance as the music played and the games continued.
There were plenty of surprises when the magician kept the children spellbound with the most popular tricks which were thoroughly applauded by the kids. In fact, one of the boys went to the extent of catching the magician napping by pulling his coloured kerchief from the wrong pocket ! It was all in good fun and the few parents who managed to sneak in too had a great time in not a laugh.
The finale was the entry of the much awaited Santa Claus which was greeted by all with one chorus. Although looking weak and fragile, Santa Claus told everyone that he had started a weight loss programme to look fit. Hence, the lean and hungry look of the Santa Claus one thought. But the most popular man in the party made everyone happy with his numerous gifts coming out of his bulging bag which seemed heavy at times. There were some special gifts for each and every children given by Santa Claus.
As the party ended, the grand Buffet provided by Winny’s Restaurant capped it all with such a big and tasty spread which the children relished. As everyone left, there was yet another goody bag handed out to the children. Portly owner Santan Alva of Winny’s Restaurant was all smiles as the children departed with plenty to thank about the finest Christmas Tree Party enjoyed by them.
All in all, a great evening for all children who will be looking for such opportunities time and time again.
