Mangalore, Dec 13: Old students' day of Rosario institutions was held at Rosario school campus on Saturday December 13.

District in-charge minister Krishna J Palemar was the chief guest on the occasion. In his speech, he assured all the support to the Rosario institutions, from the government.

Old students of the institution Dr Navinchandra K Tingalaya, former chairman of Syndicate Bank, Godfrey Rasquinha, retired secretary of Public Works Department, Dr A Abdul Rahiman, former vice-chancellor of Kannur and Calicut University, Divakar, corporator of city corporation, Ramesh Kotian, former Mayor and Machendranath Pandeshwar, artist, were felicitated on the occasion, recognizing their achievements in various fields.





















































R C Rodrigues, vice-president of old students' union, presided over the function. Stany Menezes, secretary, Fr Stanley Goveas, correspondent of Rosario Institutions, Fr Alvin Serrao, principal of Rosario Pre-University College, Aloysius D'Souza, Principal of Rosario High School and others were present on the dais.

Tulu drama 'Ulta Palta' and musical evening led by Ranjan Das and songs rendered by Srikant Kamath, Anita Samson and others  was held after the stage programme.

    Thank you very much Daijiworld for the coverage. How can I forget those days, when Fr. Alexander Lobo was the HM to the school, whose efforts brings above 90% of results in SSLC. Also, how can I forget our old teachers like Iris teacher, Elizebeth teacher, Leena Teacher (A.m.b.a.d.e), Lasrado teacher (D.a,b.a.d.e), pinto master (g.o.l.i.b.a.j.e), sridhar,ganesh somayaji (c.h.a.t.n.y)and especially our fabourite Hindi pandith (musuri krishnamurthy.
