Udupi: Adventurous World of Aviation on Full Display at Aerofest-2008

Udupi, Dec 20: The 'Aerofest-2008’ was held at Malpe Beach here on Saturday December 20 from 10 am to 1 pm.

The fest was conducted as a part of golden jubilee celebrations of National Aerospace Laboratories (NAL). The event was organized by the Manipal Institute of Technology.

The participation of aircrafts such as Microlight, Para motor, Glider, Hansa and Pushpak took the spectators through the exciting world of aviation for three hours.

Six commanders Sandeep Nayak, Pravin Pai, Srinivas Tata, K S Yadav, G B Vijaykumar and K Ramesh were presented exciting and adventurous show that kept the spectators on their toes.

A similar show will be conducted at Suratkal, under the auspices organized of National Institute of Technology (NIT-K) on Sunday December 21.

S S Pabla, Dr Raj Warrier, G K Prabhakar of Manipal institute of Technology were present on the occasion.

It was indeed a thrilling experience for the spectators to witness a rare and novelty show such as this in this part of the district.
