Kuwait, Jan 2: President of Tulu Koota Kuwait, Ramesh Shekhar Bhandary and former president Wilson D'Souza met Harjit Sahne, country chief Air India Express, Kuwait department on December 30, 2018 and submitted an appeal, urging him to change the timings of the Air India Express flight that flies between Mangaluru and Kuwait.
Air India Express flight travels in Mangaluru-Kuwait-Mangaluru route thrice a week. Earlier the flight used to depart from Mangaluru at 8.45 pm and reach Kuwait at 11.45 pm on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday of every week. The same flight used to depart from Kuwait at 12.30 pm and reach Mangaluru at 7.30 am. However, now the flight departs from Mangaluru at 7 am in the morning and reaches Kuwait at 11.15 am and on the return journey it departs Kuwait at 12.15 pm towards Mangaluru on Monday, Wednesday and Friday of every week. The present timings are not suitable to the employees as they have to waste two days of their valuable time only in travelling. So it is requested in the appeal that is submitted to Air India Express authority in Kuwait to change the timings as earlier.
